Driving Directions
From the Fort Frances, Ontario/International Falls, MN border crossing, take Hwy 11 W towards Emo. Continue past Emo and turn right on Hwy 71 N. Continue 10 miles on Hwy 71 N to Hwy 615. Turn right on Hwy 615, continue 3 miles to t-intersection, turn left on Hwy 615 for 9 miles. Turn right onto Dam Rd. Turn left into Sportsman's Landing parking lot. Sportman's landing is located on Burditt Lake.
From the Baudette, MN border crossing, take Hwy 11 E, continue 30 miles to Hwy 71 N. Turn left on Hwy 71 N. Continue 10 miles on Hwy 71 N to Hwy 615. Turn right on Hwy 615, continue 3 miles to t-intersection, turn left continuing on Hwy 615 for 9 miles. Turn right onto Dam Rd, then left into Sportsman's Landing parking lot.

For those traveling via commerical (Delta) or private airlines into International Falls (MN) Airport, we suggest you arrive the day before your trip and take the latest flight out on the day of your departure. There is a shuttle service that can bring you to the launch location or overnight accomodations for your stay. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Portage from Burditt (Clearwater) Lake to Pipestone Chain
To access the cabin you will travel by boat as there are no roads in the conservation area. You will enter the lake system at Sportsman's Landing and portage from Burditt Lake into Pipestone Lake before turing left into Slender Lake. The following video shows the ease of the portage.
